Fred Kerley got paid. That much is certain.
We’re not entirely sure what else to say about the inaugural Enhanced Games, held on the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday night, where athletes were allowed to take performance-enhancing drugs.
On the track and field side, the event was hardly a ringing endorsement for doping. Athletes were allowed to compete either enhanced or non-enhanced, and both sprint winners claimed to be clean.
The men’s 100 meters was won by 2022 world champion Fred Kerley, who ran 9.97 to take home the $250,000 first-place prize. The only athlete close to Kerley at the finish was Liberia’s Emmanuel Matadi, who ran 10.05 to earn $125,000 for second.
After that, the performances dropped off dramatically. Marvin Bracy-Williams, the 2022 world silver medalist behind Kerley who is currently serving a doping suspension, ran just 10.39 but still pocketed $75,000 for third. Mouhamadou Fall ran 10.47 for fourth, while Reece Prescod managed only 10.48.
Considering the money on the line and the amount of publicity surrounding the event, it was shocking how weak the fields were overall. Many high school state championships have a lot more depth.

Women’s 100m even less impressive
The women’s 100 was even less impressive. Barbados’ Tristan Evelyn won comfortably in 11.25 while also claiming she was competing non-enhanced. Shania Collins, the only woman in the field with a sub-11 personal best, competed enhanced, but ran just 11.43 for second.

Quick take: What the hell did we see?
The format itself was not traditional. Earlier in the night, Kerley actually ran faster in the prelims, clocking 9.93, while Matadi ran 9.95, but the prelims were not qualification for the final as Fall was allowed into the final despite not running the prelim.
Hard to believe the Enhanced Group, which is now a public company with a market cap of over $500 million, couldn’t get better performances than this while letting the athletes dope. It was also surprising that the organizers allowed athletes to compete “clean,” particularly when both winners in track and field claimed to have done exactly that.
A swimmer, Hunter Armstrong, who unlike Kerley is not serving an anti-doping suspension, competed in two events and won $375,000. He has openly said he is competing because he needs the money to continue in the sport and wants to compete in LA 2028. Many had felt World Aquatics had banned athletes who competed at the Enhanced Games, but there may be more leeway than thought, and Armstrong was drug tested by USADA after his swim on Saturday night, indicating he may still be on a path to compete in LA in 2028.
The broadcast itself often felt like an infomercial for the Enhanced brand and its broader push to normalize performance-enhancing drugs.
In swimming, however, there actually was a headline performance as Greece’s Kristian Gkolomeev swam what was billed as the fastest 50m freestyle ever recorded.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
